Our Approach

We work closely with our team to ensure that everyone understands our values and how we work. We have a Code of Conduct that all team members adhere to and we check in with staff regularly to maintain good communication and collaboration. The way we work is crucial to our customers and our business, and we talk about this in three ways:

We value our excellent reputation and believe that our actions and decisions towards a positive outcome define what makes us different.

We are always dependable and accountable. We explain every step of our process to ensure you understand what will happen and when.

We believe in hard work, exacting standards and continuous self-improvement. We are always looking forward to what we could do better as a company, and encourage your feedback to help us achieve this.

PREPARATION & PROTECTION

The devil is in the detail when it comes to decorating. Meticulous prep and expert knowledge are combined to create a high-quality finish and longevity. We carefully protect all existing furniture, flooring, lighting, switches and sockets to ensure everything looks as it should on completion.

GETTING STARTED

We have painted the outside of hundreds of homes and like interior painting, the key is in the preparation. As part of our process, our decorators assess for rotten timber or crumbling render to confirm the project is properly scoped and always suggest the best solution for your project.

We work with several reputable scaffolding companies so that the work can be carried out safely and efficiently. For those concerned about security, we can fit a temporary alarm to the scaffolding while the works take place.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO PAINT?

We can paint anything: radiators, kitchen units, fireplaces, floorboards, walls, ceilings, furniture, doors, skirting boards, architraves, spindles, handrails, treads and risers, and all fitted joinery. And we will strip paint when required, spray the finer features, such as cornicing, and have extensive experience dealing with fire or water-damaged properties.

From a small bedroom refresh to large house refurbishments, no interior decorating project is too small or great for our team.

WHEN TO PAINT

The fillers and paints used for exterior decorating don’t perform as efficiently at low temperatures or in damp conditions, so trying to carry out exterior decoration in wet and cold conditions will compromise the longevity of the work. For this reason, we generally advise clients not to carry out exterior work between October and March. However, it is wise to get the work estimated for as soon as possible so we can get it booked in to start when Spring arrives.

WALLPAPER

Wallpaper has become extremely popular in recent years which has meant we have had a lot of experience hanging it. It's an excellent way to add colour and pattern to your space and requires expert knowledge and application for the best result. Getting wallpaper right is extremely important, not only for the sake of a beautiful finish but also because it’s a more expensive option compared to painting.
